The carousel of Saumur sed now grows in two distinct times.

10h - 11h30

These equestrian presentations are assured and commented by the Cadre Noir riders, who are privileged moments to live closer to the riders and their horses within the National School of Riding. 

> Location: Grand Manège of the National Riding School (in Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent, 10 min from the city center by car). 
> Seated and numbered places. Plan an arrival for 9 a.m. Reservation strongly recommended.

10h - 19h

Village Defense : exhibition of old and modern tanks, animations, exhibitors, refreshments, fanfares ... 
> Location: Place du Chardonnet in Saumur (opposite the Military Schools of Saumur) 
> Free and open access.
For the lunch break, many restaurants and brasseries will be happy to welcome you in downtown Saumur. 

15h - 17h30

Equestrian and Military Show of the Military Schools of Saumur
In a spectacular evocation, the spectator is swept into the whirlwind of recent history, and discovers that, despite the incredible revolution of military means in a century, the values ​​of service and duty remain at the heart of a timeless commitment. From cavalry on horseback to contemporary armored vehicles, this show will be the opportunity to discover 200 years of equestrian and military tradition of the city of Saumur and to evoke as well the recent or current commitments as the memory of heroic acts that have marked the history of the cavalry. At the end of the great chronological fresco, dynamic presentations of historic armored vehicles from the Saumur Armor Museum's collection, the modern means of modern cavalry and the Army are also presented and put in context. 
This 170th edition will be especially the occasion to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Europe.
