Hold your breath and go for a visit to 126 m underground! After a descent by funicular by the original descents, you will dive in the heart of the slate extraction site of the Gatelière. Basically, you will embark on the small mining train to follow the path that the miners traveled at the beginning of the nineteenth century. In underground, a rich and playful scenography retracing the techniques of extraction, is to be discovered.
On the surface, you will understand the use of the slate blocks and find the inescapable demonstration of slate slot. Enough to plunge back into the 30 years and enjoy the games of bygone days.
