Chateau built under Louis XIII, enjoying its famous marble hall and surrounded by a large park and a hippodrome on the Route of the Loire Castles, located at the entrance of Segré on the Angers-Rennes axis.
The large Gallery designed by the Marquis of Saint-Genys houses a fine collection of art paintings and antiques. The dining room, designed by the famous architect Camut, has been custom made to accommodate woodwork from the Château de Vitry-sur-Seine. The large marble salon, sumptuously arranged, is similar to the decorations of the princely palaces and its floor is inlaid with polychrome marble. Other rooms, such as the Petit Salon or the Chapel, are worth a detour. The castle is surrounded by a French-style park created by landscaper Edouard André. The gardens surrounding the building form large esplanades well integrated into the surrounding landscapes.
Groups welcome from 20 people, from April to the end of October (reservation required).
